Setting up E-Mail on a POP3 Client
Configuring Mac OSX Entourage Mail

Open your Entourage program and click on Tools and
select Accounts.

Select New Add new mail account. Select Assist Me
-
Your Name: Fill your name

-
Your E-Mail Address: type full
e-mail address

Mail Servers: POP and
SMTP servers should have the same name.

Account ID and Password:
Replace the "@" with a "%". For example: mary%abc.net

Account Name: Add a name to
identify the account

-
Accounts Window: displays all
e-mail accounts configured in Entourage

You are done!
Alternate Method

Open your Entourage program and click on Tools and
select Accounts. -
Select New Add new mail account. Select POP
and press OK

Follow the example below:

After following either the method above, you need to enable SMTP
Authentication:
1. Open Entourage.
2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.

3. Click once on the name of the account you wish to edit. This will highlight
the account.
4. Double click Accounts.
5. In the Account Settings tab at the bottom of the Edit Account window, Click
on the Click here for advanced sending options button underneath the SMTP server
box.

6. Place a checkmark in the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.

7. Click on the very small close box in the upper-left corner of this settings
window to close it.
8. Click the OK button to close the Edit Account window, and then close the
Accounts window. SMTP authentication has been enabled.
